Warehousing Overview
Warehousing is central to structured commodity trade. GX works with GX-owned warehouses and third-party connected warehouses that meet GX standards and applicable regulatory requirements. The warehouse framework supports commodity intake, weighing, sampling, quality testing, grading, storage-location control, stock reconciliation, receipt issuance, pledge/lien tracking, transfer, release and audit trails.
GX-Owned and Connected Warehouses
GX’s warehouse model includes facilities owned or controlled by GX and external warehouses owned or operated by approved third-party warehouse operators. Each warehouse must be properly profiled, inspected, rated and monitored. Where applicable, warehouse operators, collateral managers and warehouse receipt activities must also comply with SEC and other regulatory requirements.

Electronic warehouse receipts help convert physical commodities into traceable, documented and financeable inventory. Our strong eWR system provides proof of ownership, stock visibility, transfer records, pledge control, delivery discipline, collateral monitoring and regulatory reporting.
Connected Warehouse Operator Invitation
GX welcomes qualified warehouse owners and operators who are willing to meet GX and SEC standards, implement strong inventory controls, comply with regulatory requirements and participate in a structured warehouse-receipt ecosystem. Approved operators may apply to become GX-connected warehouse operators subject to due diligence, inspection, onboarding, agreement execution and regulatory compliance.
